Redesign: Version 5.0 | Tania’s Website

Redesign: Version 5.0 | Tania’s Website

Over the past one or two weeks, I have had a lot of fun to create a new site from the beginning. I thought it would be fun to look like a VS code application to my site. I didn’t want to go to it completely with it, but it is very impressed by spending all day working in an IDE.

I have always tried to keep my site very clean and at least and free from distress, but that means that the average person who descends on my site is not most likely because it does not seem to be something else to see. So this time I have decided to change it and classify all my posts and create a category sidebar.

Redesign: Version 5.0 | Tania’s Website

V5 light

What do you think? I enjoyed making a small pixel icon of the floppy disk and Twitter bird and Gut Hub octocate, etc. I wanted to add a bit of 8 -bit retro vibes to the site and make it more unique than using emojis or icons. I also enforced a small theme switcher at the top, where not only you can switch between light and dark, but also select the main color of the site.

For example, here’s it red:

V5 Search

I wrote the CSS from the beginning in a file, because I always know that the easiest and fastest. I have tried my best to the CSS In-JS thing several times with several libraries, and I am still watching more professionals for the use of simple CSS or SCSS. I tried my best to like all the focus states, and the entire site is worth the keyboard.

Implementing the Light theme was just a matter of overriving some variables in one light theme Class

:root {
  --font-color: white;
}

.light.theme {
  --font-color: black;
}

This website is going through a lot of repetition. Which means: a lot. Take a look at the site’s first repetition from returning in 2014. (Yes, this is the Accordan Fukone.)

V5 1

Since then the blog has made a long journey! I wrote about Version 2, which was really around version 1.863.0, and then I wrote about version 4, because the version was not apparently not. In fact, I really didn’t care to make this site version, I just am passionate about some change and permanently adapt to it. Which includes my site looks like an MS DOS prompt.

v5 2

This release looks like a site until:

v5 3

I am passionate about this design, because the site is more interactive, more personal and still aware. And I just enjoyed doing this. Hope you like it too!
